For example: the City of Los Angeles sends 200 tons of euthanized cats and dogs per month to West Coast Rendering to be made into feed meal and other products.? Forty-three billion pounds is the weight of the parts we didn?t eat from the animals that we killed, in 1996, in the USA. So what do we do with 43 billion pounds of bloody scrap leftover when we?ve taken what we want from the animals.
We boil it down and feed it to them, feed it to them in captivity.
